Mission Overview

At AlgoForge Aerospace, theoretical engine designs mean nothing until they survive the test stand. As a Test Stand Operator, you will command the massive ground infrastructure required to hot-fire the VORTEX-1 Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE).

This is a high-stakes, hardware-rich deployment. You are the conductor of a highly volatile symphony of liquid oxygen, deep cryogenics, and 6,000 PSI pneumatics. When we light the candle, you ensure it burns exactly as predicted—or you hit the abort.

Operational Objectives

Take absolute ownership of test stand preparation, executing complex pre-fire checkouts, cryogenic chill-downs, and terminal countdown sequences.
Command the bunker console during live operations, actively monitoring high-frequency telemetry (pressure transients, thermal limits) to ensure engine survivability.
Architect, maintain, and troubleshoot massive ground support equipment (GSE) fluid networks, handling deep cryogenics (LOX/LCH4) and ultra-high-pressure purge gases.
Execute rapid post-fire safing, data extraction, and hardware refurbishment to support an aggressive, high-cadence testing schedule.
Lead the physical integration, alignment, and mechanical mating of flight-weight RDE engines onto the heavy thrust structures of the test stand.

Mission Prerequisites

Extensive hands-on expertise building, operating, and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, high-flow pumps, and heavy industrial machinery.
Uncompromising situational awareness and a hyper-vigilant safety mindset when operating in extremely hazardous, high-energy environments.
Expert ability to rapidly interpret complex P&ID schematics and execute strict procedural checklists under immense pressure.
A relentless drive to execute high-tempo testing campaigns at our Mahendragiri propulsion complex, regardless of the hour.
Proficiency with industrial data acquisition (DAQ) and control systems (e.g., LabVIEW, Dewesoft, TwinCAT) is highly preferred.
